Lab Managers: We are looking for 2 lab managers to start in Summer/Fall 2025 or later. Students who are passionate about person perception research and have experiences in computational modeling, audio/video/physiological data processing, statistical analysis, web development, or/and other skills that you think would be fun to apply to person perception research are encouraged to apply. Candidates are encouraged to read the papers from the lab (i.e., those where the PI is the first or last author) on this website. Job description is available here (link pending). If you are interested, please email the PI your CV, a one-page cover letter that helps the PI get to know you as a person, and a code sample (can be in any language, such as Python, R, Javascript, etc.).
Postdocs: We are looking for postdocs who share our passions for advancing a naturalistic understanding of social cognition. Start date flexible. Candidates are expected to have at least 2 first-authored peer-reviewed publications, including one representative work in top journals. If you are interested, please email the PI your CV and a 1-page cover letter summarizing your past research experiences and potential research projects that you would like to pursue at the Lab.
Grad Students: We are admitting graduate students to start in Fall 2026. Students with backgrounds in psychology, social science, computer science, data science, and related fields who share our passions for person perception and social cognition research are encouraged to apply. Candidates are encouraged to read the papers from the lab (i.e., those where the PI is the first or last author) on this website. Visiting Scholars: We welcome visiting grad students and postdocs around the world. Researchers interested in visiting the IMPACT Lab are encouraged to contact the PI to discuss potential projects.
